# delete_ticket

> Remove a ticket from its Montra document.

Removes a ticket from its document. The delete is soft: the ticket stops appearing in the document and stops being readable through the connector, but it stays recoverable from the app.

Call it only when the person explicitly asks you to delete that ticket. Finished work is not a reason to delete — report progress in conversation and leave the ticket alone.

## Input

<ParamField body="ticketId" type="string" required>
  Id of the Montra ticket (UUID).
</ParamField>

## Output

<ResponseField name="deleted" type="boolean" required>
  Always `true` when the call succeeds.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="ticketId" type="string" required>
  Id of the deleted ticket.
</ResponseField>

## Notes

* Deleting an already-deleted ticket reads as not found rather than succeeding again.
* Tickets outside the workspace this connection is bound to read as not found. See [workspace binding](/authentication#workspace-binding).
